These are the original generators
These were use to power the old Murtoa inland freezer Works from 1908
440 volt generators were used to power the electric motors and fans.
110 volt ran the Lights.
Technical data:
The 440v produced 52amp at 1070 revolutions
The 110v produced 5,5Kva
They are compound wound due to the variation in load
This helped keep the voltage relatively constant as the load changed.
